Following the commitment to make theatre part of the language classroom experience, Cervantes Theatre delivers high quality educational workshops and creative interactive courses. The workshops can be held in both Spanish and English and are tailored to each group’s needs. Some of our workshops cover a range of Spanish-speaking culture themes including: The House of Bernarda Alba by Federico García Lorca, the Spanish Civil War and Federico García Lorca’ s Rural Trilogy (Yerma, Blood Wedding, The House of Bernarda Alba).
Additionally, Cervantes Theatre produces a varied programme of outstanding and relevant productions for schools. These plays deal with different kind of themes and are appropriate for the different ages of our audiences. All the actors are Spanish speakers and trained theatre professionals experienced in involving the audience in interactive and thought-provoking ways.

Gledys Ibarra, a Venezuelan actress with a strong background and international experience in film, theatre and television, will deliver a workshop aimed at those who want to discover tools for a conscious and effective management of their capacity as an actor in Spanish language.
