After its success during the Springboard Season in June, the English translation of The Dark Stone returns to the Cervantes Theatre for a 2 week run, as a foreword to the New Spanish Writing season, beginning in September.
The Cervantes Theatre presents a flamenco festival led by prestigious artists known for their performances in major festivals such as that of La Unión, as well as members of Murcia’s Symphony Orchestra.
The STC, with the support of Acción Cultural Española (AC/E) present the first annual season dedicated to new Spanish writing. The season will feature a series of 3 dramatized readings and a 3 week production.
The STC continues their mission to present all of Federíco García Lorca’s work with a new production of The House of Bernarda Alba, Lorca’s story of a family of women in 1930s Spain, dominated and repressed by the matriarch Bernarda Alba.
After a successful run in February 2017, The Judge of the Divorces…y Otros returns for the Christmas period for a Spanish alternative to the pantomime.
